If you're anything like me and are obsessed with a freebie, I got you! Each week, I search out a bunch of amazing things that won’t cost you a penny.
I only recommend products and businesses I use or would use myself and all opinions expressed here are our own. Some links in this blog are affiliate links or sponsored by the companies I use and recommend. This means I may earn a small commission but at no extra cost to you.
Kids eat free or cheap - half term
School’s almost out for the May Half Term and the holidays can get expensive fast, especially when you’re trying to keep the kids entertained and fed on the go.
Luckily, loads of restaurants and cafés across the UK are offering kids eat free or have low-cost meal deals – and I’ve rounded up the best of them for you here.
Free day out at the farm
From 8th June, you can discover a free day out to a farm for all the family! There’s something wonderful about being entertained out in the fresh air with the family and it not costing a penny!
Open Farm Sunday is a free event offering the opportunity to visit working farms across the UK, and take part in unique experiences which may include farm walks, nature trails, tractor rides, demonstrations, children's activities and more.
Most farms are free entry, some require further costs to do all activities and some do require entrance fees.
30 days of freebies
Sign up to receive 30 days of free goodies, challenges and activities from the Wildlife Trust. There are two packs - one so you can take part with kids, or without. You’ll get daily emails throughout the whole of June.
Free shower gel
You can get a free shower gel from Sainsbury’s up to the value of £1 via the Vodafone VeryMe app. Offer expires on 20th May at midnight.
Build a free Lego figure
You can build a Lego Ninjago Thunderfang at your local Lego store and take it home with you!
you can do this from 10-12pm on 17th May and 12-2pm on the 18th of May. Available on a first come first serve basis while stocks last.
Free IKEA events
May Half Term is just around the corner and IKEA always pull it out the bag with their free in-store events. This time they’ve got face painting, colouring competitions and a space themed breakfast (some events need booking in advance online). More info here.

Free facial
Skincare brand, Origins, is offering free facials in stores at the moment! You’ll need to book a time slot online - let me know if you manage to get one!
Free National Trust passes
I’ve recently shared on Instagram about the free National Trust passes, but they go really quickly!
I would recommend downloading the InYourArea app and turning on notifications, this way they’ll send you an update once more become available.
Nearly free kids dinners
Asda has slashed their £1 kids meals prices down to 60p for the month of May to celebrate their 60th anniversary - this includes May Half Term!
For 60p you’ll get the choice of:
Pasta with meatballs
Chicken nuggets
Fish fingers
Margherita pizza
Plus, kids will receive a free piece of fruit (apple, pear or banana). More information here.
Free kids football camp
Kelloggs is offering 30,000 free places for kids to attend one of their football camps! It’s a great way for kids to enjoy football and stay active and entertained during the school summer holidays. You’ll need to scan the QR code on the website to book and claim your code.
Free fishing lessons for kids
These free lessons are running up and down the country for kids to have a go at fishing!
What a great way to get them outside and doing something in nature.
Free doughnut
Morrisons Cafe is offering a free doughnut with every hot drink purchase. And don’t forget, refills are free in the cafe too!
Would be great for WFH days that you need to get out the house or a coffee meet up with friends after the park!
Free tickets to the Homebuilding and Renovation Show
The Homebuilding and renovating Show is on at various venues throughout the year. If you’re in the throes of renovating your home, it might be worth a visit. You can get two free tickets here (worth £36).
Free home fragrance set
I haven’t seen one of the Gruum freebies for a while - they’re fab! You just have to cover the postage.
This one’s worth £26 and includes wax melts, home fragrance spray and diffuser.
Free health check
If you’re over 40 you can go along to a Boots store and have a health check completely free of charge. This will include:
During your appointment, you will have your blood pressure checked and you will have the option to have your BMI calculated, using your height and weight measurements and measure your waist circumference.

Blue Peter Badge freebie
Did you know that kids with a Blue Peter badge can get access to loads of free attractions?
Kids between 5 and 15 can apply online and then use their badge to gain free entry into places including the Eden Project, Dudley Zoo and Cheddar Gorge.
Free LEGO magazine
If you’re kids love LEGO, you can sign up to receive a FREE magazine!
You sign up on the website with your details and they send you a copy four times a year! It’s aimed at children between 5-9 years old.
If you sign up now, you’ll get the next issue in July.
Free weaning resources
Ella’s Kitchen has got a whole range of useful resources available for weaning little ones on their website.
If you sign up for their club, they also send you discount codes in the post too!
Free hand and arm massage at Jo Malone
You can now book in for lots of free sessions at Jo Malone, including a 20- minute free hand and arm massage!

Toys R Us, who knew they were still going?!
Looks like they’re making a come back online and in WHSmith stores. You can download loads of colouring and activities from their website too.
Thought these would be perfect to print off for cheap party bags gifts!
Free tea and nature pack
Did someone say free tea? I’m listening!
WWF has released a new freebie where you can claim free tea bags when you order your free daily dose of nature pack! Younger recipients will receive a fun origami craft.
I’ve had a couple of freebies from them before and they’re great as educational packs for the kids too.
Well, almost free! You can get one free card a month if you cover postage. No subscriptions or commitments, you'll just need to download the free prints app!
Free Huggies pull-ups
You can get a free pack of Huggies pull-ups here.
If you don’t need these or know anyone that does, I think its a great idea to claim them and donate them to the food bank.
Free fiver from Monzo
Sign up for Monzo with no joining fee! You don't have to switch current accounts, you can simply open a new account. If it’s your first time joining you get a free fiver!
Free photos
If you download the Snapfish app you’ll get 600 free prints each month.
There is nothing better than having physical photos to look through but I can’t bear to fight with the machines in the supermarkets to print mine! So this is much easier, plus you get a freebie!
All you’ll need to do is cover the postage.
Free Clinique foundation
You can get a free trial of Clinique foundation by signing up here.
Once you’ve done this, all you will need to do is take the voucher to your local Clinique counter. The perfect size to put in your overnight bag!
Free kids resources
The Open University has lots of fun and FREE educational resources for kids online. You can either download online or request for them to be sent out for you.
