This is my honest thoughts on what I’d buy a teenage boy this Christmas.
Honestly, if you’re wondering what on earth to buy a teenage boy for Christmas, I’m sure you’re not alone!
Teenagers can be so difficult to buy for, especially when you want to get them something they’ll actually use and love.
So if you’re stuck for ideas, I’ve rounded up some of the things I would genuinely buy this Christmas.
1. Zara Fragrances
If you're looking for a fragrance without the designer price tag, Zara has some brilliant options. Some of these smell VERY similar to much more expensive scents, if you know what I mean!
2. Pants
You really can't go wrong with boxers! They're such a staple and one of those practical gifts that teenage boys will actually use.
3. JBL gifts for under £40
If you're buying for a music lover, these JBL headphones are such good value for money.
Another great option is the waterproof JBL Go speaker, which offers up to seven hours of playtime. It's small enough to take out with friends, on holiday or just use around the house.
4. Nike socks
I feel like teen boys can NEVER have enough socks, they're practical, affordable and make a great stocking filler.
5. Gymshark clothing
If you're buying for a teenager who's into the gym or sportswear, definitely have a look at the Gymshark Last Chance to Buy section.
I always think they've got some really good stuff on there, and you can often pick up some great bargains compared to the usual prices.
6. Gift cards
Sometimes teenagers are just impossible to buy for, and that's where gift cards come in!
Some ideas I had are Just Eat, Xbox, PlayStation, Nando's, JD Sports or Greggs, but there are so many options depending on what they're into.
They're also great if you don't want to risk buying something they won't use!
7. Pokemon gifts
I feel like everyone is going crazy for Pokémon again at the moment!
If you're buying for a Pokémon fan, the 30th collection binder could be a great idea for keeping their cards organised.
ASOS also has some really cool Pokémon clothing at the moment, which is worth a look if you want something a little different.
8. Games that get them off their screens
I love the idea of getting kids something they can enjoy together without being glued to a screen, and there are some brilliant games out there that are perfect for family game nights, having friends over or just a bit of fun during the Christmas holidays.
You’ll find my best recommendations in the list below.
9. Teen boy gift sets
Boots has some really good gift sets for teenage boys at the moment.
I always think these are such handy presents, especially if you're not quite sure what to get.
10. Padel Accessories
Everyone seems to be talking about padel at the moment, so I had to include it!
If you've got a teenager who's into sport or wants to try something new, a padel racket or accessories could make a brilliant Christmas gift.
11. Stanley Water Bottles
Another gift that seems to be everywhere at the moment is Stanley water bottles.
12. Rugby Training Ball
I thought this rugby training ball was such a clever idea!
It's designed so they can practise without always needing someone else to play with, but they could still take it out and have a game with their friends too!
13. Experience Gifts for Teenage Boys
I found a junior supercar driving experience for under £20, which I honestly couldn't believe how good value this was.
Another great option is a football stadium tour, especially if they support a particular team. It's something a bit different, and they'll get to make some lovely memories rather than just opening another present.
So if you’re struggling on what to buy a teenage boy this Christmas, hopefully this has given you a few ideas.
And remember, before you buy anything, always check whether you can get cashback on it first. Those savings can really add up when you’re Christmas shopping!
