This is my honest thoughts on what I’d Buy my Mum or Mother In-Law This Christmas.
Honestly, if you’re wondering what on earth to buy the mums for Christmas, I’m sure you’re not alone!
Mums can be so difficult to buy for, especially when you want to get them something they’ll actually use and love.
So if you’re stuck for ideas, I’ve rounded up some of the things I would genuinely buy this Christmas.
And if you quite like the look of the bits on here for yourself and want to send to a partner… I’m not judging!
Want to save on delivery and buy all of it in one place?
I've tried to put as much as I can together into one list for you.
1. Candlelight concerts
First things first, there’s honestly something for everyone with these candlelight concerts.
There’s so many different themes to choose from with Ed Sheeran, Micheal Jackson, ABBA, Peaky Blinders, Bridgerton, Adele and so many more.
They are all over the UK starting from £18pp!
2. A cosy dressing gown
Asos has some of the cosiest dressing gowns at the moment, and I’m loving all the different patterns.
It’s perfect for those early mornings up with the kids or for evenings watching films together during the Christmas holidays.
3. Under £20 gifts
You honestly don’t need to spend a fortune on products to get something they’ll love.
There are loads of gifts under £20 at M&S currently that smell UNREAL. The apothecary range is so nice I’d definitely recommend.
Remember before you buy anything always check for cashback!
Those savings can really add up when you’re Christmas shopping! Not sure? Here’s my full guide to Cashback Apps.
4. The best mum bags
Totes for youu is a small business that does the nicest bags, including weekend bags, work bags, and changing bags and the quality is genuinely so good.
The bags have lots of separated sections so you can find exactly what you’re looking for, they’d honestly make such a lovely gift.
5. For those that like experiences
If you’re looking for something a little different, there are some really fun gifts that would make great Christmas presents for mums or mother in laws.
Six by Nico does themed dining experiences such as murder mystery nights and themed film or country nights that include a 6 course meal from £39pp.
National trust memberships are another great idea as there’s individual membership or family membership options that start from just £4.20 a month and include over 500 places to visit!
6. Some classic crowd pleasers
Oliver Bonas have some great gift ideas in at the moment.
I feel like you can’t really go wrong with mugs or vases, or travel jewellery boxes, and they stock those viral gluggle jugs too!
7. A practical present
For a mum who loves travelling, these quick dry, no sand stick towels are great from Dock and Bay.
8. Personalised pieces
Another lovely gift brand that has so many gift ideas is Katie Loxton.
They do tonnes of great products such as laptop cases, passport covers, luggage tags, purses, and jewellery holders all of which can be personalised!
All the jewellery they do can also be personalised and is ALL waterproof.
9. Rituals sets
Who doesn't love a nice smelly set?
Rituals gift set bundles save you so much money compared to buying the products separately and the scents they do are just the best!
They definitely give the luxury feel but for quite a reasonable price.
10. M&S perfume dupes
If you’re looking for a beauty gift that feels a little more luxurious without the designer price tag, have a look at the perfumes from M&S.
Some of these are VERY similar to more expensive fragrances, if you know what I mean! They’re a great option if you want to treat someone to a lovely perfume without spending a fortune.
11. Some other VERY popular products currently are:
- The Shark Flex Style- I use this all the time to get that ‘at home blow-dry’.
- GHD straighteners
- Kindle- a fab present for a book lover.
- Apple watch
12. VIRAL pamper products
Finally, some viral pamper products. Because us mums deserve a pamper too!
So if you’re struggling on what to buy your mum or mother in-law this Christmas, hopefully this has given you a few ideas.
Or even if you want to send this to your partner for yourself… I’m not judging ;)
And remember, before you buy anything, always check whether you can get cashback on it first. Those savings can really add up when you’re Christmas shopping!
