Is this the best family campsite in the UK?
We visited Woodlands Park in Dartmouth, Devon a while ago and honestly, I think it might be one of the best family campsites in the UK. The kids did not stop the whole time we were there!
What makes it so good?
The biggest thing (and what sold it for me) is that when you stay here, you get unlimited access to the theme park. So instead of paying for days out on top of your holiday, it’s all included!
What’s actually there for the kids?
They’ve honestly thought of everything. There’s:
Rides for all ages
Massive soft play areas
Sandpits
A zoo
Waterparks
Mirror mazes
Outdoor swimming pool
There’s honestly so much to do to keep the kids busy both indoors and outdoors. So even if the weather turns you’re still covered!
The location is in Devon about 15 minutes from Dartmouth so if you do want to leave the park you’ve got beaches, little towns and loads to explore nearby.
My honest thoughts
I honestly can’t recommend this place enough for a family getaway. It’s one of those holidays where the kids are constantly entertained, you’re not spending loads while you’re there, and you actually get to relax a bit too!
This is the kind of place we will go back to because it just makes life so easy!
You can stay during the summer holidays for around £100 per night for a family of four! Includes your camping pitch and full access to the theme parks which is such a good bargain if you ask me!
